Service Technicians

Our service concept, coupled with the expertise and professionalism of our service people, is a most vital element of our business philosophy that has led to our success in gaining and retaining customers. Our service people are the primary contributors to our team's achievements. Carroll Air Systems' Service Technicians are skilled mechanically and electronically in all phases of air conditioning, refrigeration, and related controls. Each has had direct involvement with HVAC project construction, installation, completion check, test start-up, calibration, and finalizing controls. Each serves as a service representative for the manufacturer represented by our company for this purpose and in warranty registration, service, and administration. Each technician has assisted in completing installations and service contracts for large buildings which include most every variety of HVAC equipment such as large air handling units, fan coils, constant volume systems, variable volume systems, chilled water systems, large DX systems, thermal storage systems, ice machines, custom rooftop systems, water cooled and air cooled chillers, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat pumps, all types of compressors, pumps, boilers, centrifugal chillers, air cooled condensers, computer room air conditioning equipment, heat recovery systems, special humidity control equipment, and related controls. Our service technicians are experts in trouble-shooting and problem solving. Our technicians are listed with their qualifications.



Frank W. Vibbert, Service Manager, has been with Carroll Air Systems since 1975. Frank is a skilled service technician and has held the position of our Service Manager since 1982. He served in the U.S. Army and has over 33 years experience as an HVAC journeyman mechanic.

Craig Brooks, Service Technician, has been with us since 1983. Craig graduated from International Technical Institute in air conditioning and refrigeration. He served in the U.S.M.C. in electronics and radio repair. Craig is a skilled service technician and is a journeyman mechanic with over 16 years experience.

Daryl Creel, Service Technician, became a part of our service team in 1996. He is a graduate of Tampa Bay Vocational Technical School and came to us with 20 years experience in air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance and repair for the Hillsborough County School Board. In addition to being an excellent mechanic, he has wide problem solving ability in both equipment and control systems. His technical and motivational skills are a great asset to our organization.

Kevin Murphy, Service Technician, has been a member of our service team since 1994. He graduated from Erwin Vocational Technical School in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Timothy J. Vertock, Service Technician, has been with us since 1985. Tim is a skilled service technician and served seven years as Service Manager for Ice, Inc. of Tampa and six years as A/C refrigeration foreman for Western Reserve Hospital in Sagamore Hills, Ohio. He graduated from Westside Institute of Technology, Cleveland, Ohio, with certificates in Steam Engines and Boilers, Air Conditioning Service, Air Conditioning Mechanic, Refrigeration Service, and Steam Plant Operation. Tim has over 23 years experience and is a journeyman mechanic.

Douglas M. Waldecker, Service Technician, joined our service department in 1990. Doug is a skilled service technician with over 19 years experience in our industry, and he has complete knowledge of the HVAC equipment we represent. He graduated from Carrier Corporation Service Technical Training School in 1979.
